Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your I'm OK Now account and all associated data, you can use one of the methods below.
⚠️ Important Warning:
When you delete your account, all your data will be permanently deleted:
- Emergency contacts
- Check-in history
- Messages
- Health and activity data
- Safe zones
- All settings
This action cannot be undone!
Account Deletion Methods
Method 1: In-App (Recommended)
- Open the I'm OK Now app
- Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner
- Scroll to the bottom
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Read the confirmation message and select "Yes, Delete"
- Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Method 2: Email Request
If you don't have access to the app, you can request account deletion via email:
- Send an email from your registered email address to app@icitech.com.tr
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include in your message:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- Statement: "I want to delete my account and all my data"
- Your request will be processed within 7 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted

Deletion Process
After your account deletion request is confirmed:
- Immediately: Your account will be disabled and you won't be able to log in
- Within 30 days: All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- Backups: Data will also be removed from backup systems within 90 days
Alternative: Temporarily Disable Account
If you want to temporarily disable your account instead of permanently deleting it:
- Log out of the app
- Uninstall the app from your device
- Your data will be preserved and you can return anytime
